What are the requirements for placing and receiving calls on Heyo?

You need four things:

(1) the SIM card linked to your registered Heyo number with an active calling balance,

(3) the latest Heyo (Admin) or HeyoPhone (Staff) app installed on your smartphone, and

The SIM card associated with your registered Heyo number must:

• have an active prepaid/post-paid balance, and

• be inserted in the same mobile device where the Heyo app is installed.

Internet connectivity for outbound calls

Wi-Fi or mobile data must be turned on to initiate outbound calls.

Device compatibility & app installation

Install the latest version of the Heyo Business App (Android/iOS) for Admins or the HeyoPhone App for Staff.

KYC completion (Admin only)

The Admin/Business Owner must finish the one-time Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verification to activate calling features.




2. What to expect after meeting the requirements

• Place outbound calls from the Heyo app (Admin) or HeyoPhone app (Staff).

• Receive incoming customer calls directly inside the app.

• View integrated call logs and customer details on your Heyo dashboard.




3. When the checklist is not enough

If calls still fail after you meet every prerequisite:

  1. Confirm the SIM has not run out of talk time since your last check.
  2. Toggle aeroplane mode off/on or restart the phone to re-register on the network.

  4. Contact Heyo Support with screenshots of any error messages.



4. End-to-end readiness flow

  1. Insert the SIM (with balance) linked to your Heyo number into the phone running Heyo.
  2. Turn on Wi-Fi or mobile data.
  3. Install or update the Heyo/HeyoPhone app to the latest version.
  4. Admin completes the one-time KYC verification.
  5. The app registers with Heyo servers and unlocks calling features.
  6. You can now place and receive calls; if any step fails, the app prompts you to fix it.
