How do I create, edit, and fix rejected WhatsApp message templates in Heyo?

Templates fail for policy violations, variable errors, media > 5 MB, or wrong category. Duplicate the template, fix the issue, rename (e.g., v2), and resubmit from Heyo → Settings → WhatsApp → Message Templates.




1. Template anatomy

3. Create/edit a template

  1. Heyo Dashboard → Settings → WhatsApp → Message Templates
  2. Click Create Template (or choose one to edit)

Duplicate → change name (v2) → correct issue → pick the right category → Submit.


5. Meta approval timing

Approval is usually < 24 h, but final timing is decided by Meta
