Why is the Heyo yearly billing option no longer available?

We have decided to offer only a monthly billing plan for our products. This change simplifies subscription management and makes the product more affordable upfront at a consistent monthly price (for example, INR 300/month).




1. Our goal: Simplicity and accessibility

• Easier to Manage: Previously, managing both monthly and yearly payment options sometimes led to confusion, especially with automatic payments (Autopays) and renewals. By focusing on a single monthly plan, we’ve streamlined the process, making it easier to understand and manage your subscriptions.

• More Accessible Pricing: We believe that by offering a consistent monthly price of, for example, INR 300/month, our product becomes more affordable upfront. This allows more customers to get started without a large initial commitment, effectively “democratizing” access to our features. It’s easier to budget for a smaller monthly amount than a larger annual sum all at once.




2. What does this mean for existing yearly subscribers?

Plan transitions to the standard monthly billing (e.g., INR 300/month)

Same notification will include the exact date and first monthly charge

If you are still within an already-paid annual term, your price and benefits stay the same until that term ends.




3. How to manage your monthly subscription

  1. Open the Heyo app.
  2. Go to Settings → Plan & Invoice.
  3. From this screen, you can: 
    1. update payment details, 
    2. view your full billing history, or
    3. Cancel your subscription (effective at the end of the current month, no penalty).



4. When does this change NOT apply?

• Customers whose annual term has not yet reached its renewal date keep their existing benefits and price until that date.

• The automatic switch to monthly billing only occurs on a renewal date; it does not affect any mid-cycle period you already paid for in advance.
