⚡Quick answer
• TDS verification runs during the same time slots used for uploading payments—there is no separate window.
• When you claim a payment and need TDS verification, submit the full amount, the TDS amount in its own field, and note the client’s TAN, TDS split, and rate in the comments; inaccurate or missing data will cause rejection.
When should I use this guide?
Refer to this FAQ whenever you need to:
• Confirm the exact daily timing of TDS verification, and
• Submit a payment claim that also requires TDS verification.
1. TDS-verification timings
TDS verification is carried out during the same time slots in which payments are uploaded on the Accounts Portal. Therefore, the verification process aligns with the payment upload schedule and is not conducted separately.
2. Steps to claim a payment with TDS verification
While claiming a payment along with a TDS verification request, agents must follow the process below and ensure all required details are accurately provided:
- Enter the full payment amount in the Amount Requested tab.
- Enter the TDS amount separately in the TDS tab.
- Mention the TAN number of the client in the comments section.
- Provide a clear bifurcation of the TDS deduction in the comments.
- Specify the percentage of TDS along with clarification on whether TDS is deducted from the service amount or the total invoice amount.
Note: TAN and PAN are different and should not be interchanged.
3. Common rejection reasons
It is important to ensure that all details are accurate and properly aligned. In case of incomplete information, a mismatch in amounts, or incorrect bifurcation, the request may be rejected by the Accounts Team.
