Learning & Growth at MyOperator
⚡Learning at MyOperator is employee-driven. We don’t run generic, one-size-fits-all “L&D programs”; instead, we back teammates who take ownership of their own growth.
If you’re new to MyOperator or planning your quarterly development goals and want clarity on how the company will (and won’t) support your learning, start here—then dive into the sections below.
1. Our stance
MyOperator is a professional team, not a family. We are here to build a global Business AI Operator. That requires people who take ownership of their own growth. Learning is not a perk the company delivers; it is a responsibility each individual chooses to own.
2. Core beliefs
- No spoon-feeding:
- Predefined, generic learning programs do not create real change. Those who truly want to learn do not need to be pushed; those who need to be pushed rarely sustain it.
- World of abundant learning:
- With tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, YouTube and countless resources, almost any skill is learnable. The real gap is curiosity, asking sharp questions, and trying things.
- Individual responsibility:
- The primary driver of your learning is you, not “L&D” or the company. The company can amplify your effort, not replace it.
3. What we will not do
- We will not run large, spoon-fed course libraries just to “look like” we are doing L&D.
- We will not maintain predefined learning paths for every role.
- We will not chase people to complete courses or gamify learning to manufacture motivation.
4. What we will do
If you are serious about learning, MyOperator will back you:
- Support specific requests: If you can explain what you want to learn, why it matters for your role or our OKRs, and share a specific course/resource you have shortlisted, we will actively consider supporting it.
- Provide context and mentorship: Leaders and senior teammates will share feedback, patterns and context that no online course can provide—if you show initiative.
- Create a supportive environment: We encourage asking questions, using AI and online resources, sharing what you learn, and turning learning into better decisions and outcomes.
5. TL;DR
- We do not offer spoon-fed, predefined courses as a standard practice.
- The burden of learning lies with the individual; curiosity and initiative are essential.
- The organisation will support justified, specific learning requests that tie to real work.
- We provide the platform and support system—but you must take the steps to learn.
