Not yet. Heyo does not currently offer an in-app “Business Hours” setting. Until it launches, you can manually add your hours to the Welcome Message or use WhatsApp auto-replies outside your operating window.
1. Are business hours available today?
• The “Business Hours” feature is highly requested but not yet implemented or published in Heyo.
• The product team is collecting feedback and prioritising development; no release date is confirmed.
• Any launch announcement will be shared through official channels (in-app banner, email, community).
2. Workarounds you can use right now
Option 1 – Add hours to your automated Welcome Message.
Option 2 – Configure WhatsApp “away” auto-replies for off-hours.
3. Step-by-step: Update your Welcome Message
- In the Heyo app, open Settings.
- Select Welcome message & IVR.
- Edit the Welcome Message field.
- Paste or type something like: Thanks for reaching out! Our team is available Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM IST. We will reply within 24 hours on business days.
- Tap Save. All new conversations will now display your operating hours.
4. When this does NOT solve the problem
• Customers can still send messages 24×7; you cannot block incoming chats.
• If your agents reply manually outside the posted hours, the expectation gap returns.
• Complex routing based on timestamp (true Business Hours logic) remains unavailable until the native feature ships.
