Yes. Heyo records every inbound and outbound call made through the shared business number—whether placed by the owner or any staff member. Recordings are kept securely for 6 months, after which they are deleted automatically. Admins and Managers can play or download recordings inside the Heyo app.




1. Recording scope and rules

• Automatic, system-wide: All calls made or received by staff members through the Heyo system are automatically recorded.

• Answered calls only: Missed calls are not recorded.

• Shared business number: Staff may use personal devices, but routing through the shared Heyo number guarantees every call is captured.

• Purpose: Quality assurance, training, and compliance.




2. Where to find and download recordings

  1. Open the Heyo app.
  2. Tap the Recents tab to view your call history.
  3. Select an answered call; a detail screen appears.
  4. Use the Play button to listen or the Download button to save the file locally.

4. Retention period & automatic deletion

• After the 6-month window, recordings are no longer available for playback or download.
